About Joseph Herbst

Joseph joined IFS in 2012 and is responsible for developing new client relationships, client relationship management, assessing loan eligibility and structuring, and borrower relationship management.

Joseph possesses over 30 years of experience in various financial capacities. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for several high-growth venture-backed companies and made numerous equity investments in early stage growth companies. He also possesses experience with M&A transactions, licensing, capital formation, corporate valuation, and operations management. Prior to joining IFS, Joseph was most recently the President of a business advisory firm and Managing Partner of an angel investment group. He also managed a group of middle-market lenders and large corporate customer relationships for a national Philadelphia-based bank.
